After I started following 7 for all mankind, I received a private message from them on Twitter thanking me for following them and that they appreciate me as a customer. I thought that this was pretty cool, considering that they probably get followed pretty often. This small jester that they took their time to make made me feel like a valued customer. Because of that, when I was bored and didn't know what to tweet, I tweeted at them. If you think about all twelve thousand-plus followers they have...That's a lot of messaging. And if each follower tweeted or re-tweeted something once, that throws their brand name out there even more! I love how a large company like 7 for all mankind can make customers feel like they are important and meaningful through something as random as a twitter account.
