I've got some very good news!
Yesterday, I received and email from Taylor Swift (not personally...) saying that my free sample of Wonderstuck (her new perfume! Check it out HERE!)! I'm very happy :)
Unfortunately, my Burberry Body sample has not arrived yet. If I remember correctly it said that it would take "6 to 8 weeks." Pretty sure I could come up with my own perfume in 6 to 8 weeks. But whatever.
To the main subject, now.
Marketing digitally, you can run into a lot of issues. Taylor Swifts facebook page originally had some issues:
After seeing the tweet about the free sample, I automatically clicked on the link (I love free stuff. Who doesn't?!) The link brought me to Taylor's facebook page, but the form needed to fill out for your free sample was completely messed up. There weren't any real boxes, and it's appearance was messed up (it was obvious). Yet, I still filled out the messed up form the best I could. Once at the end, though, I ran into a roadblock. There was no "submit" button. No way for me to send in my information.
To say I was annoyed is understated.
Problems like this can turn a lot of potential customers away. This can lead to tons of money lost through sales.
You're probably thinking "How did you submit it, then?"
Well, luckily for Taylor, I'm a very devoted fan. :) The following days after the issue, I checked several times to see if the problem was fixed. And they fixed it!
It's important for companies to make sure that all digital marketing methods are just as thoroughly checked and work EXACTLY as is needed.
Fortunately for myself and all other Taylor Swift fans they fixed it! :) You should order your free sample of Wonderstruck off Taylor's facebook page, now!
Have a great Vampire Diaries Thursday!
I know I will!
